From 13th-17th November we had our Woodland National School Anti-Bullying Week. There was a great buzz around school with everyone trying to ‘Make Some Noise ‘ about bullying.
Here are some photos of Ms Breda Kelly’s fantastic 4th Class with their anti-bullying action plans. The two 4th classes completed the 5 Fuse Anti-Bullying workshops.
All our classes have a partner class to help the pupils INSPIRE, NURTURE and LEARN from each other. The two 6th Classes and two of the Junior Infants classes are partnered together for fun activities. Here are some of Ms Walker’s class doing a scavenger hunt around school with Ms McLaughlin’s class.
On the Friday we had Odd Sock Day, this was to remind us that we are all a little different from each other and that’s what makes our school and our world special.
The socks got pretty crazy and creative!
5th and 6th classes also created some brilliant anti-bullying posters.
Well done to everyone who did activities for Anti-bullying week. All the activities emphasised our vision :
We are a happy, caring school family who inspire, nurture and learn from each other, with God by our side.
