The school is well on its way across Europe in week 2. We’ve had some classes already reach their target city and are now running on to their second. The children are putting in a huge effort and are clocking some serious miles each day.

On Thursday we celebrated World Book Day and had a Pyjama Day for the Laura-Lynn Foundation. This meant our had a little bit of added excitement as the classes were able to race around the track in their pyjamas or dressed as their favourite book character.

Congratulations to Ms Peoples’ 2nd Class and Ms Wilson’s Senior Infants for reaching Paris already! They’re now running ahead to another European Capital.

Each week we have a winner of the Active Class trophy. Well done again to last weeks winners Mr Boyle’s 5th class for the colossal effort during their run to Lisbon. This week we are moving down the school all the way to Ms Wilson’s senior infants for being one of the first classes to reach their destination, despite having a slightly smaller stride than the older classes. Well done!
