Ms Gormley’s 6th Class

Every month we complete 2 STEM challenges in our pods. We tried to make the ‘best’ parachute. We had a discussion about what the ‘best’ parachute is.

  • Is it the one that falls the quickest?
  • Is it the biggest one? Is it the one that falls the slowest?
  • Is it the one with the best landing?

We made sure our investigation was fair by dropping the parachutes from the same height with the same weight.
