We thoroughly enjoyed our October Aistear Theme…. the farm shop. Lots of playful learning occurred. We learnt about money and how to give change in the farm shop play area. We also learned about different types of fruit and vegetables and all about dairy products. Senan and Caolan kept us up to date on all the jobs that the farmers do at this time of the year and we used some of that information to inform our role play.
Our small world area was wonderfully resourced by our lovely kind parents who donated animals and stables to enrich our imaginative play. We used our play dough to create farm related items and our writing table produced some of the most creative and decorative pieces. Huge well done to all our senior infants!
