The children in Mrs McLaughlins class were very busy in February, embracing Spring and exploring growth and nature through our Garden Centre theme. The children worked in the Garden Centre as part of the Roleplay experience and created flowers for their customers. The children made flowers from junk materials and made prints with paints to create beautiful wrapping paper for bouquets. They played games, designed their ideal gardens and built gardens using LEGO and flower play-sets. They also planted their own beansprouts, and some plants were fit to rival Jack’s very own famous beanstalk! We ended the month with very green fingers!
