The Zoo Aistear Theme in Ms Duffy’s Junior infant room

The Jungle Aistear Theme was made even more meaningful as all the children brought in wonderful projects made alongside their superbly talented Mums and Dads. These projects were used as exhibits in the role-play corner. Other activities included art and craft where the children painted lions and created flamingos, giraffes and monkeys; Small World where the children played with Jungle animals; Construction where the children made enclosures for the animals and The Animal Hospital where the vets and nurses cared for the sick animals. A lot of learning happened through this theme. We have put together a little video and hope you enjoy it
